Questions about selling your device
How long is my price guaranteed?
Your trade in price will be guaranteed for 14 days after your initial order.
How do I send my device to you?
You simply place the device in a secure box and send it in to us with your order form inside.
How much does it cost to post my device?
Absolutely nothing! We provide a prepaid label with every order so it costs you nothing to send your device into us.
How will I know when you’ve received my device?
We will update you every step of the way to make sure you’re informed where your device has been.
When will I get paid?
As long as your device meets our Terms, we will aim to process the payment to you on the same Working Day that we test your device. In peak times, it may take up to 48 hours to test your device after it has been received.
How do I receive payment?
You will receive payment directly into the bank details provided on check out.
Can I trade in my broken phone?
Of course! We welcome all types of conditions.
Do you want the accessories and box?
If you’re sending a phone or tablet, please DO NOT send chargers/leads, headphones or any other accessories or the original box. If these are sent, we will not be able to return them.
Why is my device only worth £0.00?
Unfortunately, the device is either too old or not worth any value. However, we’re more than happy to recycle the device responsibly to help the environment.
What happens if I get the model, condition, colour or network wrong?
We’ll identify this when your device is tested – it may affect the value. Don’t worry, we’ll let you know and, if necessary, provide a revised price, which you do not have to accept.
Do you accept stolen, blacklisted or blocked phones?
No. Any device received by us and identified as stolen, blocked or blacklisted will be destroyed, and no payment made.
Do you accept fake or counterfeit phones?
We DO NOT accept any non-genuine devices. Our Tech Team can spot them a mile off so please, don’t try and sell them to us.
I left the SIM card in my device – can I have it back?
Unfortunately, a SIM card may contain personal data so, if we receive a SIM card it’s immediately destroyed to safeguard customer privacy.
How Do I Remove An iCloud Account?
If you still have the phone, the easiest way to remove your iCloud account is on the phone itself: iOS 10.3 or later –
- Tap Settings on your home screen and then tap your name.
- Tap iCloud, scroll down to Find My iPhone and turn off.
- Enter your Apple ID password then tap Turn Off.
- Tap Apple ID in the top left corner to go back.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Sign Out, enter Apple ID password and tap Sign Out.

How long does delivery take?
All items ordered before 3PM GMT are sent out for next day delivery with DPD or Royal Mail. Each order will have a unique tracking number where you can follow the item to your doorstep.
How long is the warranty period for my device?
Every device comes with a standard 1 year warranty with PhoneBox. This covers hardware failures not caused by physical damage, see warranty information for further details.
What is your returns policy?
If you are not entirely happy with your purchase we offer a hassle-free return service within the first 30 days for a full refund subject to condition check.
